Installs like any desktop application. Your library and every answer stay on your machine — the first 30 days are free.
Three things to know before you open it for the first time.
On macOS it just opens — the app is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarised by Apple, so there is no security warning. On Windows, SmartScreen still shows More info → Run anyway the first time, as code signing there is not yet in place.
On first run the app asks for an Anthropic API key from
console.anthropic.com. Drafting is billed to you directly by
Anthropic at cost — usually a few euros per questionnaire.
Add a handful of completed questionnaires and your fund documents. That becomes the app’s private memory, and the first DDQ you drop in is answered from it.
Ask about deployment on your own server, an IT security review, or anything your compliance team needs to see. It reaches Hugo directly, not a queue.
