The DDQ Assistant Chrome extension lets users of the DDQ Assistant desktop application draft answers to investor due-diligence questions and save approved answers to their firm's answer library, directly from their browser.
The extension does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data, browsing history, analytics or telemetry. It contains no trackers and loads no remote code or resources.
When you select text and use the extension, that text is sent to one
place only: the DDQ Assistant application running locally on your own
machine (address 127.0.0.1). Processing then happens within
that application under your firm's control. The extension itself never
contacts any external server.
The extension stores, locally in your browser: the last fund you selected (to pre-select it next time), and — temporarily, for the duration of the action — the text selection being handed to the panel. Nothing else is stored.
The extension requests the minimum permissions needed: access to
127.0.0.1:7860 (the local application), a right-click menu
entry, the browser side panel, and local storage as described above.
Any change to this policy will be published at this address and reflected in the extension's store listing.
